Those One Liners (TOL) came to be at the end of 2020 when the world was going through a change. That year showed us how connected we are to our planet and its conditions. It also highlighted how vital sharing and equality is. We would like to take our place in contributing to a solution in both of these immediate issues.
Long walks start with a few small steps. That is where we are, aiming to walk the way together with you. Presenting you these designs is a way of reaching out and asking you to join.
TOL wants to have both long term and short-term impact through its line drawings. In both, we work with partners that help us achieve our goals transparently.
On long-term, we'd like to support reforestation by planting trees.
In the short term, we would like to contribute by sharing a part of the earnings with charities working on causes we support.
Planting trees is of course good, but it takes a long time for them to start to show an effect.
While we wait for our trees to grow, we do more by donating a part of the earnings.
There are a significant number of charities that work on causes we’d like to support. So, we find the ones that align with our values.
This page always informs on who currently we're donating to, and our social media channels keep you updated.
DailyKarma – Shop for Good handles the donations on our part.
TOL plants trees with items you purchase and uses environmentally friendly materials that are better for you and the environment.
Planting trees is a reforestation effort and helps to eventually reduce our carbon footprint.
However, this outcome does not happen on day one. Each tree takes years and sometimes decades to grow until it can help to reduce the carbon footprint.
In a shorter time scale, it supports local economies and creates jobs for people.
Ecologi helps us to plant the trees through certified Eden Reforestation Projects. In their words, “Eden’s global restoration network is creating livelihoods for millions of people living in extreme poverty by empowering them to restore and protect forests on a massive scale.” Over a million trees have been under this project, of which we’re happy to have played a part.
